BiographyMr. Anantha Sayana is currently the Chief Digital Officer at Larsen & Toubro.

Anantha has been leading the Digital transformation at L&T since the last three years, creating solutions using a variety of digital technologies like Mobility, Cloud, Internet of Things, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Geospatial technologies, Big Data, Analytics and AI. These solutions have been deployed in scale covering hundreds of construction project sites, thousands of equipment and workmen and materials. The functional areas covered by these solutions are Design, Asset Management, Project Management, Safety, Quality, Productivity, Materials, Planning, Customer Interactions and Employee engagement.

Mr. Sayana has been with L&T for the last 24 years initially establishing the Information Systems Audit function and then served as Head of Corporate IT for 12 years. Coming back to India after a yearlong stint at the USA managing a Sales Excellence program for group company LTI, he began the Digital journey in 2016.

Anantha Sayana has authored technical articles in professional journals, has won many CIO/Digital Awards and made many contributions to the profession through voluntary work.

Anantha Sayana has degrees in Physics, Banking, Management and law and he is a certified Information Systems Auditor and certified Internal Auditor. Anantha Sayana has deep interest in Creative writing, Indian Classical Music and Wild life.
