BiographyDr. Rajendra C Jagtap currently is the Chief Executive Officer of Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) under Smart City Mission of the Government of India for implementation of Smart City Projects in Pune, India.Among his many responsibilities the key one is to carry out the implementation of various smart city projects and facilitate their execution for a successful launch for use of citizens.

He holds to his credit a plethora of projects that have seen successful execution and launch at the hands of Mayor and Guardian Minister, Pune. These include Smart Street redesign, Smart Placemaking, Smart Public Bicycle Sharing, Smart E-toilet specially for women and children, Citizen engagement programs and initiatives, Smart Elements which includes WIFI for citizens and a Command and Control Center that integrates data from various sources, Smart Street Lighting, Smart Solar Power, Smart School, Smart Health and others.

Dr.Jagtap is also very active on holding interactive citizen engagement forums, industry groups, government officials and various stakeholders to promote the company and seek strategic partnerships for its sustainable growth for the benefit of citizens.
