BiographyManojit Bose, an alumnus of NIT, Silchar and Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, comes with extensive experience of technology implementation in the government. Prior to that he spent close to a decade, serving Fortune 100 customers working out of India, US and Japan. He has been involved with the Smart Cities Mission right from the very beginning having worked closely with Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, and various cities in drawing up their Smart City Plans. During this time he had also co-authored a report, Integrated ICT and Geo-spatial Technologies framework for the 100 Smart Cities Mission which was leveraged by various cities in identifying their pan city IT interventions. He has also been a member of various technology working groups set up by the Government.

In his current role he drives the conceptualization and implementation of technology initiatives of the Pune Smart City and Pune Idea Foundation Factory, focusing on technology led innovation in solving complex sectoral problems.
