BiographyDr. Sharma is Scientist ‘E’ in Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (ICPS) Division of Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India, New Delhi. He is an associate member of the Institution of Engineers India. He has significantly contributed in evolving, developing and execution of programs of Department of Science & Technology on “ microwave tea drying in Tea Estates of Assam in collaboration with industry”; “Sea-water desalination technology using brackish water at Ramnathapurm District of Tamil Nadu”; “Design and Development of 42 GHz, 200 Kw Long Pulse Gyrotron”; Commissioning of SOP Plant in Gujarat, Development of Platform Technologies including Optical Sensors, Ceramic Membrane Technologies, Swachchh Bharat Mission (Waste Management Program), Make in India (Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AMT), Electrochemical and Optical Imaging Devices (EOD) etc.. At present he is involved in ICPS program of DST, which is mainly dealing with (i) e-Governance initiatives of DST (e-Office & e-PMU implementation) and (ii) R&D Activities related to ICPS Program such as Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems Research (ICPSR), Data Science Research (DSR), Internet of Things Research (IoTR), Cyber Security Research (CSR), Indian Heritage in Digital Space (IHDS), Epidemiology data & Analytics.
