BiographySanjay Sinha is a global leader in location analytics with over 24 years of experience, gained by working in more than 55 countries. He set up the first GIS unit at the World Bank in Washington DC, introducing solutions in the areas of infrastructure, health, and education sectors. Sanjay collaborated with other sector specialists in designing monitoring frameworks for Millennium Development Goals and IDA, with specific emphasis on Access to All Weather Roads, Health Care and Primary Education. In the private sector, Sanjay first worked for Indicus Analytics/Nielsen, where he developed solutions in the area of FMCG/retail, banking and telecom sector. Sanjay has additional expertise in the areas of logistics planning and network optimization. At present, Sanjay is with The Boston Consulting Group,(BCG) is an American worldwide management consulting firm with 85 offices in 48 countries. Sanjay holds an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Netherlands and MS in petroleum sciences from Handelshøyskolen BI-Sandvika, Norway. As an avid learner and active academician, he as earned many certifications from prestigious institutions like MIT, Colorado School of Mines, and University of Pennsylvania etc.
