BiographyCol V Raju is Commandant of Geospatial unit of Army. He was commissioned in Corps of Engineers. He had tenated various appointments in Regiments and formation Headquarters and also in Geospatial Data Centres (GDC) in Survey of India. He has been awarded with GOC-in-C commendation card for his meritorious contribution and hardworking.

Col V Raju is an Architect who has acquired higher qualification in Survey Engineering and specialized in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Technology. He has also acquired M.Sc Geoinformatics after being permanently seconded to Survey of India.

Col V Raju has worked in Geospatial Intelligence Mission Project (GIM) in collaboration with Deference Terrain Research Lab, DRDO. For the last 13 years he has been working in the field of Digital Mapping and GIS creation for the Indian Army.
