INTRODUCTION
GeoSmart India 2021 conference provides a platform for Water professionals to exchange knowledge and gain an insight into the state of the art in the current technology, techniques and solutions in water resource management session.Water is a critical and dwindling resource in many parts of India. The threat of water stress is approaching quickly for the country. Growing population, combined with mass urbanization; rising demand for water from agriculture, energy and industry sector; pollution; inefficient use and poor management are putting severe strain on the already stressed water resources.
Water Resource Management program in GeoSmart India conference, aims to identify the power of geospatial and emerging technologies towards achieving the goal of providing equitable access to water for all and howgeospatial technology can be used for water asset management, for analysing system performance, optimizing work and for easy integration with other technologies in order to come up with an intelligent and integrated water resources management system.
