Brigadier Sanjeev Devasthali Indian Army

BiographyBrig Sanjeev Devasthali is a PhD in Strategic Management. Having graduated as a B Tech (Electronics) and specialised in Cmptrs, his other post graduate degrees are MSc (Defence and Strategic Studies) and Master of Management Studies (MMS). He has undergone training in various Academic/ Professional Institutions of the Armed Forces and held diversified Command and Staff Appointments in the Army in a career spanning 35 years.

He has been on the teaching Faculty in Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. He has held the appointment of Chief Engineer (Electronics) in Headquarters Technical Group, responsible for Planning and Sustainment Management of Electronics Equipment/ Weapon Systems of the Indian Army. As Commandant and MD of 509 Army Base Workshop, Agra he was responsible for implementing Repairs, Overhaul and Sustainment Engineering of all Electronics, Radars and Opto-electronics Equipment/ Weapon Systems of the Indian Army. He has also tenanted the appointments of Brigadier General Staff (Information Systems) in Headquarters of a Corps active in North East, involved in planning and implementation of Information Systems, Intelligence and Surveillance Networks and Equipment Management, Deputy Military Secretary in the Army HQ. Brig Sanjeev Devasthali is presently the Deputy Commandant & Chief Instructor, Electronics & Mechanical Engineering School, Baroda responsible for Diploma to Post Graduate Courses in Opto-Electronics, Armament and various disciplines of Mechanical Engineering.

He has presented papers on Geographical Information Systems, Robotics and Life Cycle Sustainment of Electronics Systems, Obsolescence Management of Electronics and Optoelectronics Systems. Brig Sanjeev Devasthali will be presenting a paper on Trends in Sensors in the backdrop of 4IR
