Defence & Intelligence
Agenda
INTRODUCTION
The understanding of geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) and information is a key enabler of battlespace situational awareness for various defence forces. The digital age is ushering in new types of intelligence sources. Very high-resolution satellite imageries, aerial maps, and data from terrestrial sensors are becoming the backbone of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) platforms. Armed forces now face daily challenges to collect, analyse, and disseminate the ever-increasing volume of such products.
The two-day program on Defence and Intelligence in GeoSmart India event, will introduce Geospatial technologies that are transforming defence and intelligence operations, and how emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Advance Computing, Computer Vision and others are helping to transform the complex data into meaningful information necessary for mission-critical decision making.
