However, Indian farmers and the agriculture sector today still face some serious challenges such as climate change, cognizant market information, a robust and competitive agri-food market ecosystem and weak supply chains. The market is seeing a rise in innovative start-ups, apps and businesses that will disrupt the traditional models, lead to economic benefits for farmers and bring sustainability to the agriculture sector while driving down its impact on the environment.
